I was given some peanut brittle as a gift yesterday. I love peanut brittle and hadn't eaten any for awhile. :-)

Today I was eating some of it for the first time. I started to cough so I assumed something went down wrong. So I stopped eating it. The cough faded away after a few minutes. eyes

A few hours later I wanted some more... nono

I started eating... :-)

2 minutes into eating it, the coughing started up again... mad

I started wheezing with my cough. shocked

I was having an asthma attack. skull

I took some zyertec and my rescue inhaler.

The wheezing has faded down to a small squeak and I've almosted stopped coughing. shakehead

What I want to know is this a peanut allergy reaction? confused

It could be the beginning of a nut allergy especially if it triggered your asthma. BUT, it could've been some of the other ingredients in the brittle as well. You should have this double checked by a professional.

Some allergies come along with family. Like Asthma.

Try with Homeopathy medicines.
