I havent been on this sight but in the healing well forum I noticed nothing about suffering from hearing issues as tinnitis which is a irritating and can be painful ear ringing chirping and popping sometimes caused by allergies.  Does anyone suffer from this and have you found an answer at all??? I would appreciate any feedback!

I have tinnitis, Doc says its just something you have to live with. I try to have a Fan in the bedroom at night to help block it out. It really works well
for me. Quite honestly I know its hard but I try to block it out and not think about it. My Doc (ear, nose throat specialist) did hearing checks, and did a brain scan to make sure it wasn't caused by anything serious. It came back normal, lost some hearing but I think thats because of age. Hope this helps

My tinnitus comes and goes.  This started well before I had to wear hearing aids but I'm not sure if it's related to my hearing loss.  In any case, I had gone to an ENT for the tinnitus and it was explained that there was really no medical solution, but as firefighter says, sometimes background white-noise can help our brain tune out the tinnitus.  There might be a reason you have it though, like taking too many aspirins, so if you are on aspirin on a daily basis you might consider that.  One thing that strikes me about your post is that you mentioned ear pain.  I would be concerned about any ear pain and I think you need to see a doctor for that.  It could be allergies or infection or something else, so to rule out causes, I think your ears should be checked out for and ENT.  Best of luck.

I use an air filter at night to help with the noise. At work I play soft instrumental music to help with the noise.
Mine is a high pitched whistle constantly. "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
Some days seem louder than others, but it could just me focusing on it more that day.
I had many ear infections as a child and I believe it's connected to it.
They do sell tinnius muffling hearing aids.

I have tinnitus, worse as I get more tired. Usually I can just ignore it, but I also have some hearing loss, so it can interfere with my hearing things some evenings.
