Hi there Smurfy. You've were absent from HW for a while, is everything okay? I'm glad to see you back posting.

I have been having a lot of health issues lately. So I am taking one day at a time.

Where to start lol? I was hospitalized for a week. After that, I spent 3 months on weekly trips to the hospital wearing a lovely (not lol) PICC line and having to get weekly iv fluids. Of course during this..
Gma had a massive set back, to the point where it was real bad. I couldnt get out of it, and kept getting strangled. I had to call 911 and police had to detain her and have her transported to the hospital. We just moved her last week from the hospital (she went under a massive med adjustment) into a nursing home.

I've also been sick from my chemotherapy.

Right now, I'm fighting a cold that kicked my tush for the past couple weeks. I just started the wheezing point (of course now it decides to kick my asthma around) and I got a second doc appt for the 1st.

You've been thru the wringer lately haven't you? I'm sorry to hear about your Gma, but maybe that is for the best as sad as it is to say that. I'm sure they have been checking your WBC yes? Have you called your Onco to tell them about the cold? They might be able to boost up your WBC if it is too low to help you fight off infections.

Yes, I called On Call Onco yesterday and reported it. I also scheduled a second medical opionion with GP for EI on this cold for this Thursday. I forgot to tell them to check the WBC though lol. I've battled this cold for a few weeks (ok 3 ) now. I went in when I first got sick, but because my GP was out of country on vacation, I saw his replacement. The doctor refused for EI and said to come back in two weeks if I am still sick. Now GP is back, so I will see him Thursday and hopefully get some EI. I will also mention it to him to check the WBC. Thanks for reminding me to have that checked.
