Hello. I'm new to the world of asthma.

Sometimes i have coughing or sneezing fits after which my chest hurts and then i start to wheeze.

Is there a link somehow that the strain of the cough or sneeze causes the asthma attack? Is it common? :)

Thank you.

It's just an allergy attack happening to you.
Are you seeing an allergist? What kind of testing have you had done?

Well, a chest x-ray and a spirometry. Thats pretty much it.

I suggest asking your allergist to do allergy testing on you and do a pulmonary function test if you keep having issues.
Meanwhile take your asthma medicines when you're wheezing.
