Went to hospital for ECG and bloods because of chest tightness but they all came back fine! I suffer from peri menopause anxiety symptoms but I'm now wondering if my chest heaviness was due to cut flowers in my home as it started around the time I got them! They are lilies and smell very strong. Has anyone else had this symptom from flowers.

I don't get the chest heaviness but cut flowers, pollen, grasses, mold etc trigger my allergies majorly.

It's easy to be allergic to flowers, even to acquire a new allergy or lose an old one.
I am quite allergic to certain flowers, plants, and seeds.  I just noticed while cutting grass a couple of days ago that I'd developed an allergy to grass - I think.  I'm getting tested for it tomorrow.  This morning I drove past where someone had been mowing, smelled the fresh-cut grass and started immediately to react.  That's what made me call the allergist.
I can't stand to be around geraniums or tomato plants, although I can eat tomatoes.  I feed birds, which is why I am quite allergis to sunflower seeds.  I get weekly shots for ragweed, dust, mold, mites, and spring flowering trees, which works very well.   I hope it will be simple to just get grass added to my shots.  Two a week is enough!  I hope I won't have to end up taking 3!!!!
Alavert and a good shower after mowing keeps my reaction to grass to a minimum.  At least Alavert doesn't put me to sleep.

Yes, I'm allergic to Roses and carnations to name a few...but I think it's
most likely the bacteria or mold in which they grow be certain
you could try allergy testing...
well wishes

I can't touch geraniums. They make me itch something terrible.
I sneeze around any other growing green thing.
