eyes it gets curiousier and curioursier in the words of Lewis Carroll, author of the famed Alice in Wonderland.

please tell me why if you have allergies and asthma you can not also have chronic fatigue syndrome? these medical people sort of depress me by their narrow minded ideas eyes

o well they are the ones making all the money shocked

Hi Joan -
I've been told I don't actually have asthma, but I do have allergies, acquired a new one to grass this summer. I'm not sure about the chronic fatigue but I have fibromyalgia and I'm tired. If my doc said it's impossible for anyone to have both I likely wouldn't listen.

But the doc could be right, at least about a particular person not having both. Fatigue could be from allergies and asthma. I've had fatigue from allergy attacks! It wouldn't hurt to get treated for the allergies and asthma and see if the fatigue goes away. I'm starting to feel better as I'm building up on my doses of grass pollen shots.

Are you seeing an allergist or a rheumatologist?

CFS is autoimmune, Allergies are autoimmune, Asthma is autoimmune....
If your immune system is off then everything can go wrong.

I had a great allergist in NYC but now no one here in the swamp (outside Albany) is that great. I was treated for allergies.

I don't want to see another rheumy because of my disappointment with the medical people here in general.

They love to get you in once so they can get an expanded new patient payment and then they do not bother.

There are terrific sites on goggle for CFS from the United Kingdom. Think America is behind in their thinking on this.

I think I might have that as well. I'm just so tired- you know the sort of tired where you keep on going to the doctor to ask them to check for some other disease?
If you are on a lot of antibiotics you should be on probiotics. The yeast overgrowth caused by overuse of antibiotics can make you tired. I find that when I'm on probiotics and off sugar (which encourages yeast growth) I feel less fatigued.
How is it affecting you socially? I just dont feel like going out at all. Hope you feel better.
