I have suffered with asthma now for about 8 months. I have good peak flow values and the doctor don't think i need more medicine, but im baffled by the fact i wheeze daily even if i am on medication. Is this normal?

I have that.. idk, hard to find words when english isn't my native language, but basically treatment medicine, the one that affects long term, i take 3 puffs daily and then i also have emergency inhaler for attacks.

Anyway my wheezing is relatively mild, i wheeze for about 4-5 breaths, then it passes. Sometimes it has lasted like 5 minutes, but i didnt even take my emergency inhaler and it passes. Would this be considered mild asthma, or perhaps moderate? I'm not really sure.

I just always assumed the medicine would make me symptom free and breathing issues really scare me like , mentally =( I can't deal with it very well. Is there anything i can do by myself to relieve symptoms too btw? Would be fun to know.

Thank you for info.

Hi Sarabi

I have read all your posts from 2010 till now. I have exact same breathing problem and same symptoms.
Have you found a solution to it yet?
Did you take any medication for GERD?
How did your breathing issue started? with a cold?
