I have lost my voice due to a cold I caught from my husband. I have occasional, seasonal asthma. I was wondering if using my inhalers would help the laryngitis? I have symbicort and a short acting albuteral inhaler. Anyone had any experience with this? Thanks!

jeanne, why not just try the albuterol once to see what happens? Sometimes when I do this (when I think I'm not having asthma problems) I'll cough up some of that thick mucous. Then I know I need to use my Advair for a while to get everything back to normal.

Thanks Judy, actually, I did end up going to my inhaler and felt a lot better. Maybe it was coincidence but I think it helped a lot. Thanks so much for answering me!
