I have been having brain MRI's to monitor lesions in my brain which have been stable..thank goodness. However on my MRIs, this has been noted:

"Left sphenoid mucosal thickening is again seen with intrinsic T1 bright material consistent with inspissated mucus suggesting chronic obstruction".

My neuro did not say anything about this a year ago when I saw him after my MRI and I am not scheduled to see him again until Jan 11th.

I don't suffer from headaches (anything out of the normal) so I am wondering if this is something I should be concerned about.

Any advice would be appreciated and thank you.
