I've had this huge patch of eczema on my leg for the past couple of months. It's now bluish, like a bruise. Is that something to worry about? I've never had eczema like this!

You should have your doctor take a look at it to be on the safe side seeing since you're on Remi.

I do occasionally get bruises (probably b/c of Remicade) but they're usually small. I don't want to take an appt just for that--especially if it turns out to be eczema.

The reason I suggested you see the doc is because we have a higher chance of getting skin conditions such as Erythema nodosum or Pyoderma gangrenosum and possibly Cellulitis. Most of these conditions start as bluish bruising before erupting into ulcers. If you don't want to go to the doctor, keep an eye on it but if it gets worse, you should go in and have it checked out.

Btw, I too get bruising from the Remi.

Oh great, another thing to worry about! I'll give it a few more days. Should I go straight to my derm (or PCP)?

If it gets worse, I would suggest the Derm.

I'd say get in with BOTH right now. Bluish skin can mean many things like sherry said as well as lack of oxygen to skin. Please make yoru self appointments

It's getting less everyday and has a patch of dry skin over it like eczema. It definitely does not look like PG, and I read that for EN it starts out red and bumpy first (which I never had) then blue.
