Sounds like it could be some kind of Asthma attack - suggest you go to your doctor for evaluation. They can test you to see if you have Asthma.
Also, if you have dust mite allergies, bedding is a common location for dust mites to hang out. There are things you can do to reduce allergens in the bedroom, such as making sure to wash your sheets/pillow cases frequently (and blankets too!), vacuuming regularly, and perhaps purchasing an air filter (HEPA is best) for your bedroom.
