Allergy season has hit--my car and the ground and everything else is covered in pollen. I went running for a little less than an hour yesterday and BAM I'm miserable, even though I'm on Allegra, Zyrtec, and Singulair and using a neti pot. I'm thinking of wearing a mask, but I don't want to look like a freak.

Any other runners with allergies? Any suggestions?

Instead of running outside during allergy season, what about a treadmill? At your home or a gym? You can use this until the pollen settles down perhaps?

Well, I could go to the school gym, but it's a 15-20 min walk each way, so I'll be outside for the same amount of time anyway.

I'm in Georgia, and the pollen count is above 8000! shocked I will not be leaving my apartment today.
