Pardon my noob-ness...
As a lot of you probably know, last year a life-saving asthma medication called Primatene Mist was pulled off the market by the federal government on the basis that its use as a life-saving asthma medication did not justify its use CFC-based propellants, which deplete the ozone layer. Of course, it's worth noting that there are untold thousands of industrial (non-medical) products which emit CFCs in much greater quantities that have yet to be outlawed.
I've had asthma for as long as I can remember, and Primatene has been one of a handful of inhalers that have proven effective for me. If you'd like the FDA to at least a second look at this situation, please consider signing this petition and passing it along to someone you know who might be interested.I'm sorry but we don't allow this sort of advocacy on Healingwell.
