i have this scratchy throat feeling ike a toast crumb is stuck in it - i keep coughing and drinking.  it's weird and freaking me out.  anyone else with allergies have this happen?  it feels like i can't clear it.  making me panic.  stupid i know.  but happened right after i walked outside.  i have allergies but not terrible.  i have also been told i may have acid reflux.  they don't know really though.  not many symptoms.

This season is especially rough on allergies. Mine are in overdrive due to the early spring.

Acid reflux can cause irritations in the throat and lungs causing a choking feeling. Try some antacids like prilocet or zantac. If it's really bad you need to get a perscription for it.

For some time I felt like something stuck in my throat.Often i suffer from hayfevers and lately with very dry and irritating throat for weeks.Went at ENT & after examination he told me that I had nothing stuck but that I may be suffering from some sort of depression. This is true.Told me to exercise and try to drink sparkling water. Now my throat feel ok most of the time.I also drink kangen water but stopped the sparkling water.

Try gargling with some water having Himalayan sea salt in it. It's excellent for allergies, asthma, and sinusitis. (It is known that workers in the salt mines in the Himalayan area are rarely ever diagnosed with respiratory illnesses.)

I've stopped using regular salt and use Himalayan salt for everything and love it.

Hope you recover quickly.

This spring has been a difficult one for those of us with allergies.
