Does anyone have any thoughts about salt therapy? I have done some research and it appears to be a viable complimentary therapy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_therapy

Salt Caves and Salt Rooms are places where you can go for this therapy.

More info can be found on the web.

Thanks for the feedback. I heard there is a salt cave opening in minnesota soon and it sounds as though it would be worth a visit.

I heard through my chiropractor that there is a salt therapy cave opening in Minneapolis. It is the first one and it really helps with allergies and asthma. It is supposed to have no side-effects, which is exactly my issue--I have bad allergies and medicine makes me drowsy and I just feel weird.

I did some research. It is covered by health insurance in europe and canada, but not here in the US without a doctor's referral. It isn't super expensive and I am going as soon as it opens.
