I have hay fever and I take singulair and flonase daily (I also have asthma and Crohn's migraines the list goes on)...but today I was on my PC typical post nasal drip etc then my left eye in the inside corner was feeling as though a needle was getting jabbed in it.  The eye had no visable items in it eyelash etc also no trauma to the area.  I did wake with a migraine today behind that eye but this has never happened and it was way after the meds took care of the migraine.

The sharp pains are gone however everytime I blink it feels like somthing gritty is there and it is uncomfortable.   The eye isn't bloodshot or anything no eyelashes curled inward I have checked mult times.  When I press gently on the edge of the corner I feel pressure in my sinuses (nasal ones) where the other side where I am not having this pain doesnt have that pressure.  I am able to breathe out of both sides of my nose and have been usually my sinus congestion is behind my brow bones or under my cheeks.

Does this sound allergy related?  Any tips as to what I can use I have used benadryl in addition to my normal meds.  The eye is not itchy which is what I normally have occur in the pollen seasons

hmmm I honestly don't know but I have had what you described. I'm not sure what caused mine either. If it continues, you might want to ask your doctor. Have you tried any allergy eye drops such as Clariten to see if it makes a difference?

Possibly, but with Crohn's, there is also the chance of Uveitis or other eye complications. If simple allergy eye drops (I like Zaditor or a homeopathic eye drop called Optique 1) don't stop this sensation within a few days, it would be a good idea to talk to your eye doctor.
