Hi!

This has never happend to me. I don't know if I should see a doctor. How long does the effect of a food allergy last?

I ate a peach two days ago and felt sick afterwards; most felt a rush and little dizzy. I drank water and felt better after an hour or so.

Yesterday I ate some tomato, felt the same, drank water but this time threw up. Ate a bowl of pasta later that day but felt hungry b/c I went to bed. Before I went to bed I took my blood pressure and it was 109 / 76 but I always had lower blood pressure.

As of today I feel so tired and I need to go to the store and I'm afriad I'll faint b/c I've been getting dizzy spells.

I'm drink gatorade and trying to eat a english muffin w/ raisins. I ate it yesterday morning and felt fine afterwards.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi love. Welcome to the forum.

As a grandma, this doesn't sound like a food allergy unless you already have a known allergy to these things. Allergies don't just happen once.

If you feel like you are going to faint you should NOT drive. Ask someone to drive for you or to get the food you need for you.

If I felt like that I would go visit my family doctor. He can figure out if you have some illness coming on or maybe were suffering from low blood sugar or something. It would help if you make a list of your symptoms and all the things you ate or drank and medicines for a few days.

I hope you will post again to let us know how you're doing.

Thank you for the response!

I spoke to a few pharmacist and they didn't think it was an allergy. I'm 32, have asthma, seasonal allergies. I'm probably dizzy b/c I haven't eaten.

The symptoms happened after eating the fruit which came from a farmers market. Maybe it wasn't cleaned properly.

If this lasts past tomorrow, I'll see a doctor.

Thanks again!
