Okay, after having my asthma managed wonderful for over ten years on Advair I let an insurance nurse talk me into going cheaper with my medicine. I switched to QVar.
I was so stupid! mad
Qvar did not help me any. In fact my asthma got worse!! skull smhair
I lost my insurance with my job lay off. nono
Now I'm stuck with 3 qvar inhalers and wheezing terribly. shakehead
I noticed I still had Advair refills left so I refilled one without the insurance...$400! For 30 days!!!!!! smhair smhair smhair smhair
I'm going to try to get them free from the company but it will take some time.
The problem is now my asthma is uncontrollable again. skull   Dispite the nebulizer and rescue inhaler.
I've got to start from scratch on building up my resistance again. eyes

That's horrible Joy :( isn't it crazy what they charge for medication???? I'm on a medicine that costs about $3,000 and I'm extremely grateful I still have insurance. I feel for you all that don't have insurance at the moment. I'm sorry your suffering but I hope you get it under control fast!
