Howdy. I thought I'd sniffle my way over here after I found out that Teri was the moderator. No, that didn't scare me off....it actually enticed me to visit. Strange, huh?

Anyway, I've been a lifelong allergy sufferer. Mainly allergic rhinitis. I'm allergic to just about everything that can be airborn and I've been taking antihistamines for the last 50+ years. I'm a 57 YO male with coronary artery disease, as well as the sniffles. smile

This year has been a real gruesome one for me...I don't spose I'm the only one. I'm just starting in on Nasonex and I have no idea how it will work out. It was given to me by a pulmonologist who wants to treat me for sleep apnea with a CPAP. I don't think there's any way I can weasel out of it...the pulmonologist is my cardiologist's wife. They're conspiring against me to turn me into a space alien-looking creature in my sleep. smile So I'll give it a shot. And while I was there she gave me the Nasonex to try. We'll see.

So there's my into. Hi to all. Ohhh...there's a website in my sig that has a little more information about me, my wife, sons, and my primary addiction, old
Chevys. Consider yerselves invited if you're of a mind to visit. If not...well, that's ok, too.

Welcome to the Allergy and Asthma Forum, Ray!!

I'm glad that I didn't scare you too badly. lol

Nasonex is used by plenty of allergy patients and helps sort of tell your nose it's not really receiving those signals to be allergic to the pollens your sniffing! My daughter's used that and now Flonase and boy can she tell if she misses even one night! She sneezes all the time and these are what help her to get along a live a 'normal' teen life.

It's always handy to keep a pulmonologist and cardiologist near by, cool especially when you suffer from heart problems as well as allergy and lung problems!

Also you can check into some other articles here on the forum to see if I've mentioned some other information.

It's always good to have you on board, Ray, especially cuz I just love your cars!! haha

Hugs, Teri
