How can skin allergy be dealt that is caused due to cold and cough? I have been developing some patches like near to my neck along with itching sensation. After being visiting the dermatologist, she said it’s just a viral infection. Can anyone let me know the home remedies that can be used to deal with such allergy?

A viral infection is different than an allergy. It is, as the name implies, an infection with a virus, whereas an allergy is a reaction of your body's immune system to a substance; it is not an infection.

Viral infections are not treated with antibiotics, and most are short-lived. If it's itching you might try a topical itching ointment. Otherwise, leave it alone to heal. If it persists for more than a month, check back with your doctor.
Ulcerative colitis diagnosed in 2001; symptoms as early as 1992. In remission since 2006 with Remicade.
Inflammatory osteoarthritis; osteonecrosis from steroids
Grave's disease successfully treated with radioactive iodine and now on Levothyroxine.
Type II diabetes induced by steroids.

What color are the patches? Is there raised parts?
