I'm just wondering if i can make myself start having symptoms by worrying too much about something?

For the last week i have been stressing about having a serious allergic reaction to something, and now my tongue and lips feel itchy/funny. I'm not allergic to anything ( i have mild hay fever ) but i've been worrying that i'm going to start having an allergic reaction to something i eat/drink all the time.

Could these symptoms be from worrying too much?

Yes, worrying about allergies can cause anxiety attacks, which can cause a tingly sensation in the lips and mouth.

Strongly suggest consulting a counselor to help you with this anxiety. And you also might try something called Rescue Remedy - it is an essence made from several different plants that helps with anxiety attacks and other traumas (including physical injuries).
