Hi. I have never posted to one of these before however I realized that every 5 years when y chronic urticaria flares up I visit these sites daily looking for something that might help. After relying on huge doses of predisone for years and arguing with doctors that no I do not have allergies, cancer, limes disease, thyroid issues etc etc. I found some help. I started juicing. Not full on no food just juice but juicing daily and my hives went away. I still get a flare up around my cycle due to my body temperature rising. Also if I eat at my family's (Italian American who would never thing to pay what I do for grass fed meat) I will also get a flare up. So I started with first thing in the AM a juice. Wait a bit to eat if you are hungry (can get gassy) then another juice before bed. Also ate mostly organic food when possible. Now I am at one juice a day and I feel no hives. I usually do one head of kale, two apples, one lemon some ginger and some celery. I enjoy my cocktails so if I am having a fun night out the next day I will do a beet juice as well. It seems to be working. Thought Id share. Best of luck.

Welcome to the forum, minx.

So glad you've found something to keep your problem under control. Do you have an idea of what triggers your flares? Do you see an allergist?

You might look in the search box to see how a food log/food diary/ food journal helps find food triggers. That's what my allergist had me do, and it helped my find what the chemical all my foods had in common.
