Alright, the past year I have had symptoms of nausea diarrhea abdominal tenderness and sometimes vomiting. The nausea can become much worse when I try to lie down at night, leaning a certain way or when I'm taking pizza deliveries and getting in and out of the car (seems like the tension on my stomach makes it worse). Stress of course makes it worse. After meals I have constant burping, it's air, it's not a deep from the belly burp. I've been to many doctors, had an upper EGD which showed no issues whatsoever, I've had a full abdominal scan which came back fine. I've tried so many medication and none seem to help besides anti nausea such as Pepsi Bosmol. Recently I had a ct scan of my sinuses which showed a "mild but chronic sinusitis" which is in my right most sinus. Anyone know if this could be the cause of my problems, the weird part though is that I don't sinus pressure headaches or really even much drainage. Assuming it would be post nasal drip, I do get phlegm up from my thought but it's not much. Any ideas, or comments would be greatly appreciated, I just want to feel normal again.

Welcome to the forum, Sean.

Are you by chance eating pizza a lot? You might try taking several Lactaid pills before eating anything with milk, cheese, ice cream, yogurt. Just so as not to confuse the issue, you might try not drinking any soda either.

In case it's GERD, you might post on that forum to see if anyone else has ideas.

Thanks for the reply Alcie. :) I have no food triggers, I've been tested for
Lactose intolerance and everything is fine there. Also after the upper egd it showed no sign of acid erosion. I've tried Prilosec, dexilant, Prevacid, Zantac, Pepcid ac, and Tagamet and none of them resolved my issue. Prilosec helped with the nausea but left me with a very crazy feeling in my stomach.

Also haven't had pizza more than 5 times since the beginning of this all.

Well, lactose was an idea, with the pizza delivery. Still, there are a whole bunch of food triggers for which there is no test. Mine is sulfite, but your's is probably different.

All I can suggest is try keeping a good food journal - including everything you eat, drink, meds, along with date, time and any reactions. That's what my allergist had me do, and my list of trigger foods - things like gelatin, maple syrup, sodas, wine and beer - googled out to be sulfites. At least this test if free, easy, and no payments to doctors. You cold come up with salicylates, MSG, any number of other triggers.

It takes a couple of months, sometimes more if you need to include "challenge testing." You can find all sorts of threads on those subjects.

Meantime, maybe someone else will come along with more answers.
