I am getting over pneumonia and have been taking steroids for a few days. Tonight my vision went blurry like a veil or something was put over my eyes . All the other medications I've taken with no problems , and I have never experienced anything like this. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this

Welcome to the forum magadee.

I don't want to seem like I'm diagnosing. I'm NOT a doctor. But as a lay person I'd suggest you get help from someone who really knows what's going on.

Was this just a blur, like you might get from thick eyedrops or dryness? Or was it like a sheet or worse, a black paper covering part of your vision?

The second could be a severe emergency and you should go to an emergency room right away. It can mean your retina is detaching. That can be fixed if it's caught soon enough.

If it's just a little fuzziness, that could be the medicines. Google what you're taking for side effects, or go to Drugs.com for information.

I hope you get the pneumonia under control. Best wishes.

Known side-effect of steroids. Get an eye exam to make sure it isn't an indication of something more severe going on with your eyes.
