I usually post in the anxiety forum and thought I would post here about my constant suffering with sinus problems. I started having allergy symptoms about three years ago and since then it's been an everyday problem. Every morning I have a runny nose that I have to blow all day. My purse is filled with tissues and at night my nose itches so much I about rub it off. I'm allergic to any allergy meds they make my body all itchy feeling inside. I have sinusitis/allergies and anxiety, ugh. My sinus issues are a seasonal every season problem.

Please go get a saline lavage kit from your pharmacy. I like the Neilmed brand. Use it every night.

If your allergies are so disruptive to your life, you should also consider getting allergy testing done to identify what environmental allergens are bugging you. Then you can eliminate them, minimize them, and/or get allergy shots to hopefully reduce your response to them.

It is a squeeze bottle plus salt that you mix with warm purified water and squirt into your nostrils and sinuses to wash them out. It feels weird but after you're done you feel like you've just been swimming in the ocean. It's a nice refreshing thing.

I like my NeilMed saline sinus wash bottle. It comes with directions. Just make sure you use distilled or otherwise sterilized water for anything you put in your nose.

I also get allergy injections - weekly in my allergy season, up to monthly in the off season. Mostly, I have no symptoms now.

Seeing a good allergist can help a lot.
