First off I'm 30 and I've had seasonal allergies and asthma untreated for years. I also have IBS and some pretty bad gut issues.

After all my tests being negative for stomach problems I went to the Allergist.

I'm allergic to all the weeds, grasses, and trees, and 4 molds. I also reacted to some foods. Beef, Celery and carrots.

It's been over a week since I had any beef or carrots or celery. Things had been going good! No diarrhea and no stomach upset. I'm supposed to cut them out for 2 weeks and then stop my allergy meds and add them in again to see if I was reacting to the foods.

Then yesterday 1 week and 1 day after I cut out beef my stomach started getting upset...... and it continued into today.

Can cutting OUT a food you are potentially allergic to cause stomach issues?

I've been started on zyrtec, singulair, nasonex, and an inhaler now too.

I start my allergy shots tomorrow, but I just want my stomach normal

I think you need to see a GI.

I HAVE seen a GI. My stomach is normal tests are all negative. I've not got celiac. He diagnosed me with IBS and he couldn't do anything for it. Told me to cut the stress out of my life and that was it.

Was there any scope along with that discussion?

Allergy tests, even the skin tests, are not 100% accurate. There easily could be more foods, maybe some that weren't tested for, triggering reactions.

My allergist had me keep a food journal and that found my problems. Put the words in the search box at the top of the page for many, many threads, lots more information.

Since you've been to a GI, the allergist may be your best help, although I would have thought the GI would have had more to say about IBS.

It takes months to build up the shots to the right level. At least you've got that started.

Intolerances and sensitivities can cause problems that are not detected on traditional skin or blood allergy tests.

Food elimination/challenge diets in combination with a very detailed food diary, are the only way to discover those sorts of issues. An Environmental Medicine specialist may need to be consulted, as most Allergists are lacking in education about this type of problem.
