My pulmonologist has decided to do a bronchoscopy this Friday. Has anyone here had one before? I'd like to know what to expect. He says he'll use 'conscious sedation' so I won't be fully under. I think I'd almost rather be under (LOL). All the medications I'm on are not helping my cough (asthma). Even adding lidocaine to my albuterol in my nebulizer only helps for a short time. I'm so tired of coughing and so very tired of being tired. The cough wears me out! shakehead

Hi, I never had one done but a friend did for a research study. He said you just feel a little uncomfortable and some chest pain later on, nothing major. He was very worried (but he really wanted the 300$ compensation hehe) but once it was over he said it wasn't bad at all :)
