Does cold temperatures make people's asthma worse? I am noticing it does mine. What are some steps I can take to avoid episodes and not have to use Albuterol so often? It is in the 30's here and extra windy.

Cold air van definitely trigger asthma. When you go out in the cold, wrap a warm scarf around your lower face to help warm the air a bit before you inhale it.

Yes I second that, my doctor gave me a sheet of tips and that was on it. What I do is memorize what makes it worse or better. Everybody is different so u gotta keep track of what makes it better and what makes it worse. Weather doesn't bother mine for some reason mine is all food drink and exercise related

Yeah, sometimes when it's cold I just avoid going out, or wear a scarf or mask. I have bought a balaclava but it sometimes makes me feel self conscious wearing it but I'd rather not have the chest pain! I try to breathe through my nose not through mouth which helps a bit
