It doesn't look like it's necessarily an allergic reaction, especially because it's only on 1 side. I would guess it might be an infection or an irritation, but you should see a doctor. I would see your family doc, an opthalmologist or an allergist, in that order.
If you think it's really an allergy, you could try taking an antihistamine, Benadryl or Alevert or Zyrtec. But you should still see the doctor!
If antihistamine doesn't help you still really need to get it checked.
If this is happening over and over an allergist could give you some skin tests to see if you have allergies.
