"Even Light Smokers Risk Disease And Death"

"A study released today squashes the common belief that light smokers escape the serious health consequences faced by heavier smokers. According to the study in the journal Tobacco Control, smoking just one to four cigarettes per day nearly triples the risk of dying from heart disease or lung cancer."

Hi Lyn! tongue

I know those feelings well - and yes, towards the end of my quitting after all those many years, I was down to a pack a day and smoking only outdoors!  When it got too cold, I was even in the garage - I think that's when I finally realized (even tho I'd already had a heart attack) how addicting this habit was and I decided no drug, unless life saving!, was going to control me. lol

That's when I quit with help with medication and patches.

I wish you only the best, Lyn!!  So does your family. :)

Bunches of Hugs, Teri tongue

PS  We only got wind from that storm and mild at that - no rain.  Thank you for all your kind thoughts!!
