Hi everyone,
To start with I have an incredibly sensitive skin and it has been incredibly cold where I am. Also I have all year round allergies including cat allergies. I have 3 cats but they are not allowed in my bedroom. For the last few days, and this morning was the worst, I have noticed itchy bumps all over my face especially in the cheeks and chin area. I take 24 hour dose Allegra daily (at night) + 1 Singulair 10 mg daily at night. My allergies and asthma are in check. Could this be a rash? combination of terrible cold dry weather + allergies...? what can I do? my skin looks sad and miserable....

Sorry, I don't know if it could be allergies, but I'd go see an Allergist and get some testing to find out.

Is this a new problem? Have you changed anything? Diet, meds, detergents, skin products? Even toothpaste causes problems for some people.

Yes it could be allergies I had them bad as a kid had to take shots forever. Are these like hives bumps or do they have little clear liquid in them kinda like pimples but no pus sorry if I sound gross but I have had the worst eczema ever before and some types of eczema are little blisters that itch so so so bad you could little scratch until you bleed and get a secondary infection ( been there and done it) and sometimes eczema can be brought on by food allergies ( like wheat I've herd) have you eaten anything new? Or changed detergents? Also if they are hives ( no blisters ) try a Zyrtec if you are allowed to take different types of medicine. I don't know if you can mix them but I found that only Zyrtec helped the itch when I had my flare of eczema. And one last thing to think about sometimes even stress can throw your body into an immune system overdrive ( allergies are your bodies way of rejecting something just like myself rheumatoid arthritis sometimes your body just flips out) I hope you feel better soon.
If you can still make an appointment with your doc only because my 32 yrs sis just had to get over chicken pox after my mom got shingles and there is this whole measles thing going on. There are so many types of " rashes" that it is well and good to have a professional opinion.
