Sometimes my daughter's allergies have gotten so bad that we were not able to tell if it was her allergies, or a cold?!  I've had sore throats that have come on after a virus has traveled around my friends and family and I just knew that I was getting the 'bug' - however, it turned out to be my allergies causing this!

How do you know if it's a cold, or an Allergy??

Here are a couple of sites that describe the basic differences between colds and allergies and why it's important to distinguish one from the other re which medications you will take!

Excellect source of info Teri.
My husband is the worst with his allergies. Every year, he goes thru this spell, sneezing, hacking, and spreads his germs to us. Which my twins with CF do not need this for sure. Matter of fact, I am dealing with his germs spreaded to me and now I have bronchitis from it. I usually get the lysol spray out and de-germ the place before this time of year, but I was just a tab bit too late....:-(
One season, I did have one twin sick, I sprayed lysol and the other twin never got sick....wow!. my grandmother knew what she was teaching me was a good thing!. lol.
