I was diagnosed with asthma before my ****s, around 5th grade. In my late teens my asthma nearly went away, use of a rescue inhaler were barely needed and I stopped taking Advair and still lived a fully functional life. Now it seems as though after my last time of going down at my old job (heat exhaustion+plus panic attack) I use my inhaler about 2-3 times a day 2-3 times a week! Not sure if it maybe because of the old environment I was in for work, lots of dust from metal and sand.

Normally would not be worried but will be doing a DOT physical soon for new job.

Any input?

Have you been back to your doctor? The inhaler you are using might not be suitable for you now.

The environment could indeed be an influence. If this is really bothering you, I highly recommend you to
visit your doctor for advice on how to deal with the situation you have right now. If it's true what achievinggrace is saying, you should indeed ask your doctor more about which inhaler you should use or if there is any other way to deal with your situation. Don't forget to take enough rest, because if you have asthma and you've noticed that it is becoming worse over time and don't take enough rest, you will make it even worse for yourself. Also, your doctor's advice is critical. So if you notice any increase in symptoms of asthma, go visit your doctor!
