What does an "equivocal/low" allergy test result mean, exactly?

My doctor recently took some blood and I got an allergy test done. I've never been to an allergist. It turns out I'm allergic to 4 foods (I've only EVER had a reaction to one) and they all came out with "equivocal/low" results. My doctor told me that I should stay away from peanuts since I've already had a reaction but that the rest of it was fine to keep eating since I've never had any reaction to any of it before. But what exactly does an equivocal result mean?

I'm no doctor, but I do listen to mine!

I would ignore blood tests since they aren't very accurate yet. If you can eat those foods I would just continue to eat them.

If you react to peanuts of course don't eat them!

Did the doctor do any skin tests? Those are pretty good. I would guess you would react to peanuts on skin tests, but it would be too dangerous to skin test for that.
