Has anyone ever gotten a severely dry mouth just from allergies?
Not taking any meds right now, so it wouldn't be due to allergy meds. But I get this severely dry mouth where I make no saliva only in one part of the US and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had that and what type of doctor they go to?

Welcome to the forum.

I don't understand your reference to "US." United States?

I'm not sure who could help the most. You might try calling a gastroenterologist or an allergist and asking if they can help with it. There are many problems besides allergies to check out.

My dentist noticed my extremely dry mouth and recommended a product called "Spry." It's an OTC spearmint-flavored spray that stimulates your mouth to generate saliva. It really helps me.

yes it is from panting and not breathing properly. drinking plenty of water is good and this also helps with getting rid of flemm (spelling) and is good for weight control too. This is recommended anyway and there is biotene which you can buy also.

I HAVE 2 SOLUTIONS FOR DRY MOUTH. ONE IS BUY A BOTTLE. IF ASCORBIC ACID 500 MG AND SUCK ON 2. A DAY ONE IN MORNING AND ONE IN AFTERNOON AND SALIVA WILL START FLOWING. SECOND IS BUY A LEMON AND ONCE A DAY PUT A SLICE IN YOUR MOUTH AND SWISH IT AROUND . YOUR MOUTH WILL WATER LIKE CRAZY. HOLD IT IN THERE AD LONG AS YOU CAN BUT DON'T SWALLOW. IT. IT WILL DO THE TRICK. MOUTH. WATERS JUST LOOKING AT. A LEMON.
