You might try taking a guaifenesin product. This is the main ingredient in Mucinex. It's an expectorant but I find that it clears up a stuffy head from sinus problems. Guaifenesin by itself does not raise blood pressure (or isn't supposed to) but now Mucinex has expanded its products and now makes Mucinex-D, so read the labels. Recently I found a generic product less expensive. Also read the the strength. Regular strength is 600 mg but it also comes in 1200 mg taken twice a day. As always, I would suggest looking up the ingredients, asking your doctor and/or pharmacist about
it and taking the lowest dose that works for you.
Also, if your house air is dry because of the heater in winter, then make sure you have a humidifier running.
I found that my sinuses would stuff up with just dry heat and I feel better with the humidifier on.
