I'm a young male and I've been having voice issues on and off, mostly on, for years. A lot weaker, tires fast, lower/thicker, breaking, hoarseness.
ENT put a camera down my throat a couple of years ago and found onset of nodules and thickening of the right chord. Referred me to a speech therapist who suspected silent reflux. Gaviscon advance brought my voice back somewhat, but it's still having some issues generally. Used to have a strong, clear voice but most of the time it's rubbish and strained now...
I always have mucous in my nose, running down my throat and often on my chest. Not sure why. Nasal sprays haven't done anything.
I find I lose my voice strength even faster if I have something like a cup of coffee or any alcohol. I think I'm oversensitive to everything.
Any suggestions please? ENT was private, can't afford to go back for a while
