I had a bad reaction to an ice cream bar, a candy bar flavor variety. I get tachycardia, upset stomach when I get over my daily limit of 2000 micrograms. I have eaten the candy bar without such a bad reaction, so I suspect the actual candy may not be in the ice cream product, just it's component ingredients possibly in different quantities.
.
I read the list of ingredients, which listed caramel color and some other known substances that contain sulfite. The product website claimed the product is sulfite-free. I posted that they can't say that! Maybe they don't add sulfites, but it's not true that something doesn't have it if it's in the ingredients.
Just a warning for other sulfite intolerant people! Read ingredients before buying.
