I have been diagnosed with asthma for 4+ yrs I am 67 otherwise good health. My cough is different than any other I've heard. MY teeth started eroding over a year ago I thought it was because I wasn't rinsing my mouth well enough after inhaler use I had them fixed and a few months ago I noticed more significant problems I have 5 crowns. I have spoke to my pulmonologist and explained my concerns and that I believe it is related to Nissen fundoplication that I had over 16 yrs ago, I have choked a number of times on saliva and swallowing food; my xray shows scarring, a contrast CT scan is ordered for later this month. MY cough sounds as if it is contagious so I don't go to many functions where I can't make a quick exit. I am thinking the wrap of my esophagus has slid, loosened, and needs to be redone I take Prilosec 40mg and I have taken the gammet of GERD meds in my life. I am now sleeping in my recliner I don'y want my dental worked to be compromised. Does anyone have a similar situation?
