Does anyone either have this or know anything about it?

Also does anyone have problems with blushing really bad whenever any emotion is shown. I have problems with that and when i show any emotion like laughing anger everything and sometimes just sitting and doing nothing i get really hot on my cheeks ears and my neck and my chest and am on fire and very uncomfortable and last anywhere from 10 minutes to hours. It can if i get really bad makes my face hurt and can't move my eyebrows and it burns not itich. I have this bad when watching movies that have action or scary things and i see emotions from people it happens...weird i know but was wondering if anyone knows what it is.....this all started when i started taking prednisone...been off it for 5 years now but still have this....any clue as to what is happening and what i can do since the doctors just look at me like i'm crazy any when i do it in front of them. Also My hives when i first got them and had them all the time day and night they didn't itch and i told the doctors this and i told them that taking a hot bath made it feel better not worse......any help would be wonderful or at least where to start again.....

Yes! I get that too on occasion. I will be sitting there and talking, no emotion really then all of sudden, my nose and cheeks red and they feel hot. I have been reading that this is also a sign of Rosacea. Also with Rosacea, you can get hive like bumps on your face and/or neck. Is this where you get your hives? Just one possibility to throw at the docs if you haven't already.

My face just gets red on my upper chest neck area and the side of my face, ears really bad and if it is a really good reaction my forehead eyebrows and eyes.......it's the same feeling i get when my pressure hives on my hand and feet do when i carry things with my hands or walk on my feet with shoes that my feet don't like. When it happens i first get really hot then can feel my face swelling and then it burns and is really hot to my touch or someone elses. If i try to close my eyes when it swells badly i can't feel my pulse and hear it in my ears. I have found a way to control it by tanning year round i don't have to do super amounts of it just 4 days a week at maybe 5 to 10 mins at most and it keeps it away....i'd rather not do that but until someone tells me what it is and how to control it i have to. I don't have Rosacea have ask that many times and the many doctors say nope not that. So i keep on plugging along here and see how many things i can have that the doctors can't cure or don't know what it is smile they call me the catch 22 girl since i am also not allergic to so many medications also due to the prednisone i took when i started the hives over 8 years ago.......

Darn! I was hoping the Rosacea would give you a clear-cut answer to your dilema. Why does the tanning bed work for you?

the only thing i can think of is it makes my capillary(blood vessels) close.....I was told by someone that a side effect of prednisone can cause the blood vessels in the face area to stay open and making a person to look like they are blushing a lot...except i blow up which may be because i have pressure hives.i can't remember the name of the condition or find the darn thing....Now the condition is suppose to go away when you stop taking the med but that would be to easy for catch 22 girl..... smile
