Hello everyone,

My allergy problems are very mysterious, here are my symptoms:

Eye redness
Puffiness and discoloration under eyes
Photosensitivity, especially to computer monitors
Hives on the back of arms
Ear popping and clicking sounds
Soreness in the back of head and neck

Floater in right eye

The problems started in December 2004 and there has been much improvement since that time, but these symptoms aren't going away. The first diagnosis was an infection, and after some improvement everyone keeps saying it is allergic conjunctivitis. Some of the suspected causes have been dust mites, laundry detergent, food poisoning, caffeine allergies, shampoo, polyester, trees, possible moldy mattress, possible moldy leather chair, particleboard in furniture, lack of sleep and apartment paint - I've kept running tests on these possible causes, but no real solution yet. I even moved to a new apartment and removed most of my furniture.

I've taken mast stabilizers like Optivar, and a number of other things over the months such as TobraDex, Doxycycline, Zylet, Lotemax, lubricant eye drops, Loratidine, Flonase, Elestat, Patanol, Augmentin, Benadryl, and MethylPredniSolone. I've seen different opthalmologists, an ENT, and an allergist. I had a sinus CT scan and it showed nothing wrong. Currently I'm not taking any eyedrops and I'm applying an Estee Lauder product to remove the dark circles (a little success, but not much).

How do I get rid of this, and what type of specialist should I see at this point?? Can this ever go away completely?
