This is a list of medications I'm on: Singulair, Asmanex, Augmentin XR 1000 mg, Zantac, switched from Naproxen to Mobic 7.5 and Xopenex as needed, and non drowsy- non drying Sudafed 1 in morning and 1 at lunch.
Been to allergy doctor had a CT scan of sinus which showed some blockage and a infection. was put on the Augmentin 4 days ago, along with the Sudafed. and she took me off Nasonex.
The pain in my head is incredible, especially at night. The mobic helps a little better than the naproxen, but I'm only getting 2-3 hours of sleep, durning the day the pain is not as severe but I cannot bend down because it's painful, there is pain in both ears now and stuff going down the back of my throat , I can sneaze but nothing comes out. I've got loss of appetite. and have chills and sweating durning the day. Coughing a little today.
The main issue for me is I need to get some sleep because I'm starting to get agitated.
I see the ENT on 11 September. Wish it was sooner.
Can anyone tell me how to get my mind focussed off the pain at night so I can sleep? Itave to take several baths because of the sweating. Any suggestions PLEASE confused
I Cannot get into the Chat rooms, Computer runs Linux Mandrake 10. Broswer Konqueror. Thanks

maybe you should try a sinus drainage kit. im not familiar with most of your medicines but i do have sinusitus and bad post nasal drip and i use saline spray sometimes. this has been happening for over 5 years.

try using a steam inhaler (basically a beaker that you fill with hot water and decongestant with a mask over the top) i have the same problem and it realy helps, also ask your doctor if he can prescribe u beconase i was on it for 6 months but my doc took me off it because it has steroids in and im already on the same ones for my asthma (beclametasone)

Just wanted to Thank everyone for your replies. I've been to the Doctors and have had numerous tests, found out I have very small sinus passages( maybe future surgery) and allergies to Dogs, outside mold, plant mold, grass and dust mite. Thank god not to cats as I have two cuties. I can deal with the dog allergy. I also have been put on some new meds and feeling a little better. Thanks again for your advise. just hate giving up my indoor plants.
