I am wondering if I was misdiagnosed with GERD and this is another part of the allergic/asthma/sinusitis complex.  I stopped taking the nexium and moved down to zantac.  When I saw the GI doctor he said to stop taking the zantac.  There has been absolutely no difference.

Yesterday I forgot to take the flonase nasal spray and found it very irritating when I took it later in the day.  I have decided to stop taking it for a while to see CAN I GET ANY RELIEF FROM constant sore throat, bad taste in mouth and dry throat.

I know I do mouth breathing which is bad and causes dry mouth.  I try not to do that.  I have lowered my caffeine intake which is also supposed to be bad for dry mouth.  I went and bought euchalyptus (spelling?) drops which I do find soothing.  Am trying to take in more water. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately we have to deal with bad side effects of our meds in order to feel better from another problem. It's a vicious cycle. Are you feeling any better?

Yes, thank you red...the sun came out and I do feel better. Outdoor air is supposed to be better than indoor air so I went for a walk yesterday...also cleaned the inside on my car. I am not eating at night any more and have limited my caffeine to two cups a day. GERD rules are easier to follow than asthma rules, that's for sure. I have the wedge pillow on my bed...and it does cause more gravity. I tried to lift the bed up but that was a failure.
