I have been experiencing severe reactions to white pasta for the last couple years.  I have no problem eating the barilla plus or auntie annies pasta though.  i also have a reaction if i eat a lot of white bread.  the reaction that i have is severe diahrea, vomiting, fever, stomach cramps.  I'm really confused though now becuase i went out to a restaurant on sunday, ate chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans, and had the same reaction.  It comes really quick, within an hour of eating.  Can anyone help me with this? Maybe help me find some more information?

Hi Meg and welcome to Healingwell! Have you been tested for Gluten intolerance or Celiac disease? It seems more and more people now a days are getting diagnosed with this and by eliminating certain things from their diet, it has improved their symptoms. Just a suggestion, people that have a sensitivity to Gluten that have eaten at restaurants don't realize that the food that is prepared there is in contact with the very thing that irritates you. I suggest you do a search on Gluten intolerance or Celiac and see if it matches your symptoms. Good luck.

You may be suffering from irratible bowl syndrone, which can cause sudden and somewhat strong reactions to certain foods. Its all part of the whole inflammation syndrone that also manifests as allergy, asthma, GERD, etc.
