every single day for the pass couple of months ive been getting stuffy noses right when i wake up and then in the afternoon and then at night.  ive been using so much nasal spray and that vix vaseline stuff that i feel that im putting my body in danger.  the weird thing is is that i dont have any stuff in my nose, so i went to the doctors and they couldnt find anything. is this an allergy? it really freaks me out. do any of you guys know some remedies that can help fix a stuffed nose for long hours that don't put too much harm to the body?

Have you been tested for allergies? It could be from allergies especially if you have dust (which is known for its high allergen) in your bedroom. Also too if you are using over the counter nasal sprays, these are known to cause the rebound effect. If used for a long time, it can cause your nasal passages to swell; that is why it states on the boxes not to use them for longer then 3 days I believe it says. To help alleviate the stuffy nose, try sticking your head over a steam bath or even one of those facial steamers found in stores. Try not to use anything in the steam if you can help it, but every so often you can try euclyptus (sp?) drops. It may take a while for you to see the results but hopefully it won't be too bad for you.

There is an aloe verda with vasoline nose liquid you can use. Make sure to be gentle with your nose. You might have a polyp in your nose, try to find a good ENT (Ear nose throat) doc. This can be kind of expensive and I hope you have adequate insurance. The steam is a good idea. You can also buy a humidifyer too. If only I could spell!!! Saline nasal spay is also a good idea.
