hello everyone, i read angelas post and i have the same symtoms... well let me start with my symptoms and after ill tell you when then happen and when they are calming down... in the morning... my eyes(eyelids above eye) gets swollen and whenever i close and open my eye there is this little sound of skin hitting together and my eyes isnt round like it is suposed ... the upper right is kinda straight.... my eyes hurt and feel dry for no reason... then maybe after 20 minute they feel alright without even using drops... (before... like 2 years ago we had 2 cats and 1 ferret to which i was very alllergic too... and we have 2 sofas and they used to go on it... and now whenever i sit on the sofas my eyes start swelling)in the morning getting dark things under eye.. feeling bad... also i  saw my skin was more pale then usual...even my nose would swell up and nose would be blocked(no nose dripping) ... the symtoms would get better at 4;30 pm before supper...they never would be perfect... and with this sometimes i get face burning and redness and difficulty breathing... usually my symptoms are alot less worst in summer and in october they would start.. and in winter be a little less worst.. and be very bad in spring... someone help me up plz thx:P

They say when your allergic to animals it's really in their saliva and because cats lick themselves clean all the time you could still have some of their hair in your couch. You might want to think about getting a new one if you possibly can, just a suggestion. Have you had your place professionally cleaned (a cleaning service) that would be my other suggestion. You would not believe where you'll find cat hair, other than in the cat (lol).
I'm really allergic to dogs, can't get to near them. Clarinex and Astelin help me when I have to be around dogs.
Have you had allergy testing done recently? If not maybe you should consider allergy testing.
Take care, good luck keep us all posted. Hopefully you'll find something to help you.
Hugs

That sounds awful. I guess you can consider whether you want to take the Western medicene route (expensive, harsh, doesn't address root of problem) or some alternative method (nutrition/vitamins, unproven methods such as NAET). I have allergies and asthma but I refuse to medicate it (expensive, nasty side effects, possibly dangerous). I never thought that battling with my immune system is prudent or the correct path.

If you feel like you have allergies, something is causing them and usually that is the first recommended step (finding out what you are allergic to). Hold on to hope, sometimes injuries or other things wrong with your body go away for no apparent reason. It's a funny thing. It never hurts to look into healthier living (diet, exercise, etc.). Best wishes, econ
