hi angela

my sinus problems went from bad to worse when i had surgery for a deviated septum. I have severe post nasal drip now that drives me crazy. I'm not sure what kind of surgery you need, but after my nose surgery, I don't recommend it to anyone!

I'm now taking Flonase. Maybe you can try a nasal spray first.

I also had surgery for a deviated septum and it was quite uncomfortable amd hard for me to breath for a couple of days. I had my sinuses drained in 1998 and the doctor did this in his office with some numbing medications and it did hurt , it did help to clear me up, this too I would recommend only as a last resort. Go to an ENT and see what he/she recommends for you. Don't just go and have surgery.
Have you tried Saline Nasal Sprays or Washes? Do these help???
God Bless
