tongue  I'm so happy I needed to tell some fellow asthma sufferers!!!

My asthma has been getting worse ever since i started using inhalers, I hate drugs and really worry what they're doing to my body. My dad is a homeopath and so i've been hiding the fact that i've been using them. So... I looked elsewhere for alternative natural treatments and decided to try Acupuncture, after my 3rd session my asthma has totally gone! It's so amazing! I can do excersise and not have any problem, i've got loads of energy and my excema has almost gone too!!!!

I seriously wasnt expecting such a fantastic result, but it really has fixed me! All together i've had 3 different types of chinese herbal remedies (just like vitamins) 2 types of cream for my excema and 6 sessions of acupuncture, it boosts your immune system and your energy levels. I really would recommend this to everyone! I still have an inhaler incase of an attack but if i start to get wheezy it seems to stop quickly without the inhaler!

easy breathing and a smilie face from me x

Hi and welcome :) I'm glad you found something to make you feel better but keep it in mind that your asthma may still return one day. It's a good thing you are hanging onto your inhaler, you never know if you may need it one day :)

I'm a respiratory therapist who specializes in asthma education.  It's nice that you found a relief, but I'm stressing to the HIGHEST DEGREE to keep your relief inhaler w/you at all times.  There have been several deaths which could have been prevented because people "found a way to stop their asthma".  Stress can cause asthma exacerbations and acupuncture has been noted to be beneficial for stress related problems.  When stress is controlled so is your asthma.  Asthmatics have a constant degree of inflammation (like a low-grade fever) which can be set of in an instant by triggers (stress, allergens, GERD, etc).  Please don't become one of the yearly death statistics!  Hope you keep feeling good, but an ounce of prevention is worth more than a lb of cure to an asthmatic.
