New here...and I am thinking my post is the same as about 99% of all other ones but I cannot seem to pinpoint what I am allergic to and want to find out if I am in any kind of danger.

After eating (if whatever I am allergic to is in it) I usually have to clear my throat about 40 times because it feels as if there is a mucus build up in my throat.

As of late, this feeling has been lasting much longer and is getting quite annoying as it feels like there is small collection of mucus in my throat almost all the time.

Here are some examples of what I have eaten when it has happened recently.

One morning: 3 Eggs, a glass of Calcium Tropicana OJ and slice of salted Land O' Lakes Butter.

about 35 minutes later, a glass of Tea sweetened with Splenda.

Another day: A stick of Winterfresh Gum

Today: Chik fil A chicken Biscuit, Tropicana OJ, coffee with Half and Half and sugar.

Help! I have read somewhere that this could be a reaction to Corn Starch or Corn Syrup...sound familiar?

Thanks,

Matt

I would try the elimination/challenge diet to determine masked food allergy.eliminate (one) only, of the food groups from your diet 5 to 10 days that you would like test out. wheat or gluten, corn, soy, dairy, eggs.when you! introduce this food back into your diet after elimination for 5 to 10 days your system will over react!!! monitor your symptoms 15 min to six hours. but only do this under DR. orders!! some symptoms will be as such headache, nasal congestion, bloating muscle or joints aches or swelling. if any oucurr you are allergic to that food group. but seek a DR. on this please!
