I have always had hay fever.  I am 57.  After about

40 and occasional bouts of bronchitis,  i have developed

dust, or cat induced asthma.   I have used

bronchial inhalers lightly over 10 yrs.  There

has not been obvious adverse problems from

this.  I have not overused them.   Last

couple months cant seem to kick a combination

of chronic asthma, plus some mucus coming

out of lungs, so i think i have developed chronic

   allergic bronchitis.

Sometimes i feel pretty good and dont remember

i have it.  Other times i get started with a bout

of sneezing, then sinus mucous, then bronchial

tubes tighten,  then get some mucous coming

from lungs,  clear or slightly colored, but doesnt

seem to go away, and can even become painful

for lake of ability to exhale, due to mucous.

I have been fighting this with antihistamines

chlorotabs, which help,  and local inhaler

   (not prescribed).

It seemed to get somewhat worse a couple

weeks ago, when i was soldering something

and caught some breathes of a melting plastic.

I dont believe i have pneumonia, and i wont

   take anti-biotics, even narrow spectrum,

because i believe it hurts other body organs,

   colon, balance, pancreas liver etc.

Anything else i can do.?  thanks in advance.

Hi Tru - I know that you don't want to take anitbiotics and it seems that you may have bronchitis like you said. My hubby has chronic bronchitis as well and refuses to take antibiotics too. Just wondering, have you ever tried Bee Propolis? As long as you're not allergic to bees, bee propolis has natural anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties - it might be able to help with the bronchitis. You really should go see a doc because I know that antibiotics upsets all sorts of things in our bodies but you could be damaging your lungs with chronic infections.
